Lately you have enjoyed a slow start to the morning, complete with book reading (or book bridge building) and bird watching. I love this quiet time we have together before the chaos of the day sneaks up on us.

Tonight you felt it necessary to water your flowers before bedtime. Either this was the sweetest thing in the world or you are quite brilliant at procrastination, my sweet boy. Maybe a bit of both.

This morning we got super lucky and heard a truck out front. The driver appeared to be lost and parked in front of our house before carrying on. You stood and stared the whole time and then had a mini-meltdown when it pulled away.

These white flowers appeared out of nowhere. I’m not sure if they are weeds or if their came from something a neighbor planted, but they sure are welcome here!
