Stafford Virginia Family Photography | Soon to be Four

I think it’s time that I get this session up on the blog because this family of three will be a family of FOUR any day now!

When I arrived at the Smith home, I could already hear the crackle of the fire and smell the sweet smoke.  They were prepping supplies for s’mores and let’s be real, I’m not one to turn down a dessert so I knew I was in for a treat.  They roasted marshmallows like professionals, shared countless giggles, and played the afternoon away.  But what stood out to me most was the love.  Not just the love of one another as a family.  I’m talking about the love that these boys have for the mom of the house…my dear friend, Arica.  They truly adore her and it is apparent in every single touch, look, smile, hug, and kiss.  The way they both look at her with joy is enough to melt any heart.  If you know me, you know I like a plan (Arica is chuckling now because she knows that is a vast understatement).   So I watch in amazement as the Smiths get ready to welcome a fourth family member…gender unknown!  And I can’t help but wonder during this exciting time, will there be a little girl joining the family that the boys will swoon over?  Or will there be a baby boy who will undoubtably learn the way of the Smiths and love his mama to pieces?  I cannot wait to find out!  One thing I know for sure, there is no shortage of love to give.  And there is about to be one blessed little baby entering the world and the hearts of this family.
