The first day of spring brought rain.

It was finally warm out so we went for a family walk in the woods. You loved it! You prefer to walk off the path (this is consistent with your personality) and enjoyed collecting sticks, pointing at birds, and of course passing many dogs on the trail. You stepped to the side of the path each time a dog came by and then waved frantically as they passed. It was like your own little personal parade. Over and over again.

Today I decided to take some new pictures of us for a bio page. You heard the camera click and immediately turned to it, flashed your best toothy smile, and said “cheeeeeeeee.” Not exactly the candid moment I had expected but I’ll take it.

I brought a basket of laundry upstairs from the dryer. You decided to help me out by putting it on the floor with the dog hair and using the basket as a comfy seat.  We’ll have to work on this, sweet little helper.
