Sometimes you like to get all of your ducks in a row…literally. And tonight you did it in this lovely evening playroom light.

Tomorrow is your second birthday and some presents have started arriving. Your great-grandparents sent you a gift with instructions to let you open it right away. How perfect is that? Someone who loves you dearly and understands how awesome it is to not have to wait until a certain day to open your gift. And you treated those fire trucks just as you treat all toys you love. They went straight to the windowsill for their first ride of many.

It seems that seeing your cake on fire was just about the worst thing that has ever happened to you. Everrrrrr. But in true toddler form, you recovered quickly and enjoyed your sweet treat. Happy birthday! We love you to the moon and back, sweet Ayden!

I can’t get enough of these sweet feet! They seem to dangle perfectly over the edge of the chair whenever you sit at the table…just begging for kisses.

Not technically a perfect image but makes my heart so happy!  To know that my mom and son share such a deep bond of love is truly incredible. Seeing my most favorite people in the world loving on each other will never get old.
