As a family photographer and storyteller, it should come as no surprise that I love documenting the small moments in life. And my favorite family to photograph is, of course, my very own. It can be difficult to pause and appreciate the seemingly mundane with constant chores, busy daily routines, and the inevitable chaos that comes with family life. When I think about it, today looks just like yesterday and I have no doubt that tomorrow will appear the same. While I am quite confident that some things will remain constant (like not having enough time to drink my chai latte without a reheat), the rest is actually changing at an alarming rate. The routines of next month will be different. A new favorite toy will be chosen. Shoes will be replaced after countless toddler strolls up and down the street. The pajamas that fit perfectly tonight will be in a box and new ones will be pulled from the drawer before bed. So today I paused and documented. And in doing so, I have grabbed up memories that I will hold on to forever. Here is {A Day in Our Life}.
Candice Keenan - Always such a treat to scroll through your pictures. They just put a smile on my face. Such warmth captured in everyday nuggets of goodness
Megan Hassold - Thank you so much, Candice! That means so much to me 🙂
Cynthia - This is wonderful! It tells an obvious story, and your photographs are beautiful. I love your style.
Arica Smith - I have watched snippets of your day but to watch it unfold visually in its entirety was a real treat. I loved watching the Target trip. It will be fun for him to see a Target 25 years from now and see how different retail looks. Personally, I loved the art projects! A friend reminded me the other day to enjoy the art projects. It’s nice to see you do…I love how everyone becomes the art by wearing the stickers.
Grammy Starr - So enriching for me to see these beautiful pics of moments in your family’s life, a day with Ayden, from 2,500 miles away. Warms my heart, Meg and I can’t wait to see you all. Love you and your amazing photographs!
Alice Anne Ford - Megan, you are truly gifted!!! Bravo!!! Ant thank you, Crane for sharing her talent with us! Of course, she has wonderful subjects in that precious
Ayden and you. Keep the picture coming!!! Love, Nanie
