We cleaned out the playroom and removed the baby toys you weren’t interested in anymore. I put them in your bedroom closet and you recently discovered the hidden stash. Of course, they are now your favorites and you take any chance you can get to pull them out. The golden hour light streaming through your window was a bonus.

The house is so quiet after bed time. I love it…for about an hour or two. And then I miss you. Your daddy and I have actually had conversations about going in to snuggle with you in your crib. We look at photos of you from the day, watch our favorite videos of your silliness, and discuss how amazing we think you are…our world is still about you long after you have gone to sleep. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. {I took almost the exact same photo last week when shooting my “Day in Our Life” but didn’t use it in the series. I loved the light so much that I recreated it for today.}
